What to expect
A different kind of night out in City West
soàa sits on Dahlmannstraße, one street behind Adenauerplatz on the quieter, western end of Kurfürstendamm. Lounge and restaurant share one room: some tables smoke, some just eat, most do both over the course of an evening. The kitchen runs from lunch until late, and from 11 pm to 1 am a midnight snack menu takes over, from nachos to chicken wings.
What makes the place rare in Berlin: there is no alcohol in the house at all. Instead the bar mixes non-alcoholic cocktails from €8.90, from classics like the Ipanema to house creations with basil, hibiscus or fresh honey, alongside matcha drinks, chai and sahlep, the creamy Turkish winter drink.

- Yes, the kitchen works with halal ingredients across the whole menu, and since there is no alcohol in the house, none is used in sauces or desserts either.

- A hookah is €19,90 per head with 15 flavors to choose from, coal service at the table included. Hookah is strictly 18+, ID is checked.

- Walk-ins usually work on weekdays. On Friday and Saturday evenings we recommend booking ahead, especially for groups. The fastest way is WhatsApp or a quick call.
